Leading Associate Vice President - Manager IT Finance

Your Area of work: We are seeking a senior and highly experienced IT leader to head our Finance Data IT unit. This role is pivotal in ensuring the technical integrity, availability, and quality of all master and transactional data for our core Corporate Finance and Treasury functions. The primary focus is on the end-to-end delivery and operation of finance-specific data solutions, with a strong emphasis on our central SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) platform.

As the leader of a geographically dispersed team across Europe and Asia, you will act as the key interface between the IT organization and your business stakeholders in Finance, Finance Shared Services, and Treasury. You will be responsible for translating their strategic requirements into robust and scalable data solutions, while collaborating closely with the corporate data organization to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide standards. In addition, this role will be one of the core teams for any post merger finance integration.

Your Responsibilities: Lead and empower a distributed team of finance data specialists while fostering a culture of execution excellence, precision, and business-focused delivery in a complex, regulated environment. Own and drive the delivery, lifecycle, and strategic roadmap of finance data platforms in close collaboration with business stakeholders to support Finance and Treasury operations, reporting, and analytics. Lead finance data migration initiatives in post merger integrations by developing migration concepts with IT and business teams, ensuring structured execution, data quality, and transparent reporting.

Own and continuously enhance the SAP MDG platforms technical and functional capabilities, including data models, integration workflows, and data quality rules for finance master data. Design and maintain a robust finance data architecture ensuring seamless integration and reliable, efficient data flows across SAP S/4HANA, Treasury systems, and the broader financial IT landscape. Act as a strategic partner to finance and treasury stakeholders, translating evolving business needs into effective technical solutions and data services.

Ensure 24/7 stability and performance of finance data applications while maintaining high data accuracy and quality through robust controls aligned with corporate data governance standards. Manage relationships with key software vendors and external service providers to ensure optimal performance and value. Your Profile: 1015 years of progressive Finance IT experience with deep expertise in financial data management, combined with proven senior leadership experience managing international, distributed teams.

Expert-level understanding in Corporate Finance and Treasury data domains, combined with hands-on SAP MDG experience and strong architectural knowledge of SAP S/4HANA data structures and integrations. Basic understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, acknowledging their strong interdependency with finance data structures and system flows. Structured, results-driven leader with a strong track record in delivering complex financial IT projects and exceptional stakeholder management skills at the intersection of Business and IT.

Bachelors or higher degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field, complemented by relevant project management or SAP certifications. Proficiency in written and spoken English German knowledge of advantage
