Job Description
The Lead Teacher supports the Principal and Assistant Principal in executing the school’s vision of excellence. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader, compassionate mentor, and detail-oriented administrator who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position plays a critical role in sustaining high academic standards while promoting a positive and inclusive school culture.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience in the following areas:
- Support Special Education (ESE) K-8 programs in collaboration with staffing specialists and support personnel.
- Guide school-wide technology initiatives, ensuring equitable access and integration of educational tools.
- Conduct Behavior Threat Assessmentsand Discipline Matrix cases
- Monitor and support teacher certification and facilitate professional growth opportunities.
- Support school-wide tutoring programs that address academic gaps and enrich student learning.
- Lead all student assessment logistics, ensuring compliance, integrity, and data-driven instructional decisions.
- Oversee the lunch program with a focus on efficiency, compliance, and student wellness.
- Design and implement professional development for faculty aligned with instructional goals.
- Utilize data analysis to drive academic decisions and monitor instructional effectiveness.
- Conduct teacher evaluations and provide mentorship, coaching, and actionable feedback.
- Collaborate on the development and execution of the School Improvement Plan (SIP).
- Assist with arrival and dismissal procedures, ensuring student safety and flow.
- Be a consistent presence at extracurricular events, supporting school spirit and student involvement.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or related field.
Minimum of three years of successful classroom teaching experience.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
