Team Overview The Trusted Call Solutions team at TransUnion builds missionâcritical voice and data services for global telecom carriers and enterprise clients. This team focuses on developing scalable, cloudânative solutions that support realâtime communication systems and drives innovation across TransUnionâs Communications Solutions portfolio. This role reports to the Senior Director of Software Development and is a hybrid position requiring regular inâperson presence at a TU office for at least two days a week.
Role Overview and Core Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, stateless microservices in cloud and onâprem environments Build and deliver productionâgrade, highly scalable applications using cloudânative microservices architecture Collaborate with crossâfunctional teams including product managers, architects, and operations to deliver solutions aligned with business outcomes Develop and enhance RESTful APIs ensuring high performance and reliability Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes Improve engineering best practices using openâsource tools, automation, and DevOps methodologies Work closely with customers and partners to understand realâworld use cases and translate them into technical solutions Create solution design documentation and define acceptance criteria for deliverables Participate in Agile development processes using tools like Git, JIRA, and Slack Required Knowledge and Experiences 8+ years of experience in software development with strong handsâon coding expertise 5+ years of experience in objectâoriented design and programming Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and problemâsolving Proven experience in designing and building cloudânative microservices architectures Experience working with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience) Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Go Strong experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Batch) Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs Familiarity with JSON/YAML data structures and API design principles Preferred Skills Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes Automation and orchestration tools: Ansible Messaging systems: Kafka / PubâSub architecture Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk Experience with Agile/DevOps environments and CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of protocols such as SIP, DNS, HTTP, SSL, OAuth2, STIR/SHAKEN Exposure to UI frameworks such as Angular or React Familiarity with documentationâasâcode practices Benefits At TransUnion, we design benefits to help you feel well, do well, and plan well from day one. Pay Scale Information The U.S. base salary range for this position is $90,000.00 â $150,000 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, jobârelated skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.
Regular, fullâtime nonâsales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnionâs annual bonus plan. Certain positions may also be eligible for longâterm incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
