Lead SoftwareEngineer - Real Estate Technology (10+ Years) Location: Sheffield, England (UK) - Contract – Hybrid ( 3 days Office, 2 days WFH) 6+ Months Contract Role Purpose Take a hands-on leadership role within a small, high-performing engineering team in Real Estate Technology. You'll drive technical delivery, actively write code, and champion continuous improvement across a range of projects.Collaborate with central engineering communities to embed best practices and enhance service management for global users. Experience in the banking or real estate sector is not required-what matters is your technical expertiseand ability to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities Lead & Mentor: Guide and develop engineers, fostering accountability, teamwork, and technical excellence. Hands-On Delivery: Provide technical direction and actively contribute code to deliver secure, scalable solutions. Continuous Improvement: Promote modern engineering standards, agile practices, and process enhancements.

Service Management: Strengthen operational reliability and user satisfaction through improved incident, change, and problem management. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, architects, and global teams to deliver on technology roadmaps. Experience &Skills Must skills: Delivery Technical solutions delivery experience Enterprise Solution Delivery experience Saas Products experience Solution architect experience End to End Architect experience Cloud, Devops, CI/CD Real estate experience Preferred Essential Proven experience leading technicalteams in complexenvironments.

Strong coding skills and hands-on involvement in software delivery. Solid understanding of cloud, DevOps, Cl/CD, and engineering quality frameworks. Effective communicator and collaborator across technical and non-technical teams.

Commitment to agile deliveryand continuous improvement. Desirable Experience in real estatetechnology or similardomains. Participation in engineering communities or centres of excellence.
