Lead Project Controller

Overview

In this role you will lead project controls across a portfolio of complex programmes within Urenco’s Government Services function, acting as a key interface between site teams and Group stakeholders. You will develop and implement controls strategies for scope, cost, schedule, risk and benefits, enabling informed decision-making and successful delivery. You will lead and develop a high-performing Project Support team, ensuring robust reporting, forecasting and resource planning.

• Lead and develop project controls activities across a portfolio of projects
• Develop and implement project controls strategies and plans for scope, cost, schedule, risk and benefits
• Establish reporting frameworks, performance metrics and forecasting
• Monitor project and supply chain performance; identify risks and opportunities
• Provide decision-support through robust controls and analysis to project teams
• Lead and develop a team delivering planning, cost, risk, reporting and project control services
• Ensure deployment and utilisation of project controls resources and foster a collaborative, high-performing culture

• Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
• Project Management or Project Controls qualification (APM, PMI, ACostE, or equivalent)
• Experience leading project controls on major capital projects
• Full lifecycle experience from concept to handover
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams and regulated environments
• Strong project controls, reporting, forecasting and resource planning expertise
