An exciting opportunity has arisen for a lead nurse to join the Nursing Directorate. We are looking for an ambitious, talented and compassionate team player to join our team of excellent staff to lead on the delivery of the Trust’s winter vaccine programme for staff. Main duties of the job
As a Lead Nurse for vaccinations, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in
delivering a safe and effective service for the delivery of the Trust’s vaccination programme
for influenza (flu) for staff (and patients as required).
The post holder will undertake a clinical supervisory role, overseeing a team of Seasonal Flu
Immunisers and administration staff. The Lead Nurse will be present on site, or as part of a
roving team, for each vaccination clinic to both administer vaccinations and support staff with
clinical queries. The post holder will be the identified Basic Life Support lead for all shifts and
will be supported by the Deputy Chief Nurse.

- Registered Nurse
- Degree level education or demonstrable equivalent experience in a relevant health related field.
- Current immunisation training / update or willingness to undertake
- Evidence of continuing professional development
