Lead Hardware Test Engineer

Overview About the role We are seeking a qualified and motivated Lead Hardware Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, developing and executing comprehensive test plans and procedures for complex electronic systems and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical engineering background with a focus on hardware testing, troubleshooting and validation.

Performing hardware testing, troubleshooting and validation for complex electronic systems and components. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders to ensure test coverage and validation criteria are met.

Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree from a recognized university in a related discipline with two years of professional experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Experience in hardware testing, troubleshooting and validation, with emphasis on electronic systems and components. Experience designing, developing and executing comprehensive test plans and procedures for hardware systems.

Strong knowledge of hardware test methodologies, tools and best practices, including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies and signal generators. Proficiency with hardware test automation tools and frameworks. Experience with Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testing, power electronics or embedded systems is an asset.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Additional desirable assets Experience with ship combat systems and their support elements is considered an asset.

Experience with IBM DOORS requirements management is considered an asset. Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies is considered an asset. Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

Good knowledge of SAP. A valid NATO Secret security clearance is considered an asset. Familiarity with industry standards such as MIL-STD and DO-178C or DO-254.
