Music City Electricians is looking for an experienced Lead Electrician — and we're not looking for just anybody with electrical experience.

We're looking for the person who can walk onto a job, assess the situation, make a plan, and get it done.

The electrician who can troubleshoot instead of guess.

The one who takes pride in their work, expects the same from their crew, and doesn't need someone standing over their shoulder telling them what comes next.

⚡ THIS IS A LEAD POSITION

We're looking for someone who can take ownership of a job from start to finish.

You'll be trusted to:

• Lead jobs and keep your crew productive
• Plan the work and determine what materials are needed
• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems
• Run and bend conduit
• Perform panel, service, circuit, lighting and equipment installations
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems
• Make confident decisions in the field
• Ensure work is completed safely and up to code
• Train and mentor less-experienced electricians and helpers
• Communicate professionally with customers and the office
• Keep jobs moving and solve problems when something doesn't go according to plan
• Deliver work you're proud to put your name on
  

WE'RE LOOKING FOR THE ELECTRICIAN WHO...

Knows the difference between "I've done electrical work" and "I KNOW electrical work."

You understand the NEC.

You can troubleshoot.

You know how to lead a crew without standing around watching them work.

You notice when something isn't right.

You think ahead.

You take care of your tools, your truck, your job site and your customers.

And you don't need to be babysat.

WHAT WE NEED

• Several years of solid, hands-on electrical experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and the NEC
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Ability to confidently run jobs
• Experience leading or directing other electricians/helpers
• Strong conduit-bending and installation skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Professional communication and appearance
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Pride in your work
