Lead AV Engineer / AV Commissioning Engineer

Location: UK-wide (Head office Sheffield) Salary: Competitive salary with clear progression based on experience and performance + Company Vehicle tdc are looking for an experienced Lead AV Engineer / AV Commissioning Engineer to join our growing team delivering corporate AV projects across the UK. This is a hybrid role combining hands‑on installation with system configuration and commissioning. You’ll play a key part in taking projects through the final stages of delivery, ensuring systems are installed, configured and handed over to a high standard.

The role will suit someone with strong technical knowledge who is equally comfortable on the tools as they are commissioning systems. Key responsibilities: Commissioning and configuration of AV systems DSP setup (Q‑SYS, Biamp, Shure) and Dante audio Setup of VC solutions (Microsoft Teams Rooms, Logitech, Poly, Crestron, Extron) System testing, fault finding and final handover Supporting installation teams where required Client training and on‑site coordination What we’re looking for: Proven experience in AV installation and commissioning Strong understanding of AV systems and signal flow Experience with modern meeting room technologies Ability to work independently and lead on‑site delivery Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel What we offer: Competitive salary (dependent on experience) Company vehicle Opportunity to progress into senior / leadership roles If you’re looking to step into a more senior, technically focused role within a supportive and growing AV business, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
