Known for thoughtful community planning and long-term growth, the company is expanding its development team to support an active and growing pipeline of residential projects. Job Description The Land Development Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of land development and site construction for residential communities, from pre-development through project close-out.Key Responsibilities Include: Oversee residential land development projects including clearing, grading, utilities, roadways, stormwater systems, and site infrastructure Manage consultants (civil engineers, surveyors, environmental firms) and coordinate design deliverables Lead bidding, contract negotiation, and contractor selection for site and utility work Interface with municipalities, authorities, and regulatory agencies to obtain permits, approvals, and inspections Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasting Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety Identify and mitigate development risks, prioritizing cost control and schedule adherence Collaborate with acquisition, construction, and finance teams to support overall project success MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
