Lab Infrastructure Engineer (Irving)

Job Title: Lab Infrastructure Engineer (UAT Lab) Location: Irving, TX , Basking Ridge, New Jersey Type: Full-Time Role Overview: Seeking an experienced Lab Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and manage a physical UAT testing lab for complex telecom (MVNO) environments. This role focuses on enabling end-to-end validation of critical flows like SIM provisioning, payment processing, and secure customer operations that cannot be tested in cloud-only setups. Key Responsibilities: Build and manage physical UAT lab (devices, eSIM/pSIM banks, infra) Support SIM provisioning, activation, and port-in testing across MVNO stack Manage PCI-compliant payment testing (tokenization, 3DS, validation flows) Implement governance for SIMs, payments, and sensitive data access Coordinate hybrid testing model (onshore lab + offshore device farm) Ensure lab readiness for every release cycle Maintain audit/compliance documentation (PCI, CPNI) Required Skills: Strong experience in MVNO or telecom UAT lab environments Knowledge of BSS/OSS, SIM management, and provisioning flows Hands-on with eSIM (GSMA standards) and physical SIM operations Understanding of PCI-DSS and telecom data compliance (CPNI) Experience with device labs, APN configuration, and network setup Exposure to cloud device farms (BrowserStack, AWS Device Farm, etc.) Preferred: 5+ years in UAT lab / telecom testing infrastructure Experience with MVNO platforms and carrier integrations Familiarity with AI-based monitoring or lab automation
