Kitchen Manager

Job Description Job Description La Juanita Empanadas is a new Argentine take-out concept opening in Miami Beach, focused on high-quality empanadas made fresh every day. We are looking for a Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen operations and ensure consistency, efficiency, and high product quality. Responsibilities * Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen and supervise food preparation staff * Manage and control the empanada production line , including the preparation and assembly process * Oversee the preparation and handling of empanada dough , ensuring consistency, quality, and proper production workflow * Coordinate and guide staff responsible for filling, assembling, baking, and frying empanadas * Monitor product quality and ensure all items meet company standards * Maintain proper inventory levels of ingredients and kitchen supplies * Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations * Adjust staff schedules and kitchen workflow to maintain efficiency during peak hours * Train and support kitchen staff to maintain consistent preparation and service standards * Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning kitchen environment Qualifications * Previous experience in kitchen management or a similar leadership role in food service * Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices * Experience managing kitchen production and staff coordination * Experience with dough-based products (empanadas, pastries, pizza, or similar) is a strong plus * Strong leadership and problem-solving skills * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Excellent communication and organizational skills What We Are Looking For * A hands-on leader who is comfortable working on the line with the team * Someone who takes ownership of kitchen organization, production flow, and product quality * A professional who is punctual, reliable, and focused on maintaining high standards every day Location: Miami Beach Schedule: Full Time.
