Job Description Job Description Are you an experienced Kitchen Manager with a passion for leading teams in a high-energy social lounge and bar environment? We are seeking a dedicated professional who can ensure our kitchen operates efficiently, meets health standards, and delivers an exceptional guest experience. Key Responsibilities: Open and close the building, ensuring the kitchen is ready for full operation.
Schedule and manage kitchen staff shifts, including breaks, to meet guest demand. Teach and train staff on all kitchen operations and procedures. Maintain a fully stocked kitchen and oversee inventory and waste control.
Lead the team to maintain an operational pace that matches our customer service commitments. Set and monitor performance, hygiene, and grooming standards for all kitchen staff. Ensure the kitchen is 100% ready for health inspections with no violations (e.g., proper food storage).
Foster a clean kitchen culture and teach best hygiene practices. Keep staff motivated, positive, and accountable through coaching and disciplinary procedures. Track and report fluctuations in food costs and dish pricing.
Review guest comments to enhance customer satisfaction. What Weβre Looking For: Proven experience managing a kitchen in a social lounge, bar, or high-volume restaurant. Strong leadership and communication skills.
