Job Description

Kitchen Design Consultant

Mod Kitchens and Design Center – Fort Saskatchewan, AB

Design beautiful spaces. Build lasting relationships. Love where you work.

At Mod Kitchens and Design Center, we believe creating an amazing renovation starts with listening. We're looking for an experienced Kitchen Design Consultant who loves meeting people, creating beautiful spaces, and helping clients confidently bring their vision to life.

This isn't a position where you'll simply design cabinets. You'll guide homeowners through the entire renovation journey—from the initial consultation to the finished project—helping them select cabinetry, countertops, flooring, tile, and other finishing materials.

If you're passionate about great design, enjoy building relationships, and thrive in a collaborative team environment, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do
  • Meet with homeowners to understand their goals, needs, and lifestyle.
  • Design beautiful, functional kitchens using 2020 Design Live.
  • Present concepts and confidently close projects.
  • Guide clients through cabinetry, countertops, flooring, tile, and finish selections.
  • Sell complete renovation packages rather than individual products.
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience that generates referrals and repeat business.
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 5 years of kitchen design and sales experience.
  • Strong proficiency with 2020 Design Live is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to build trust and rapport quickly with clients.
  • Strong sales and communication skills, with the ability to confidently close projects.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Experience with flooring, tile, countertops, or interior design is a significant asset.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to continually improve.
  • A positive attitude and collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • A portfolio demonstrating your design experience and completed work.
What We Offer
  • $70,000–$120,000+ annually, based on experience and performance.
  • Full-time permanent position.
  • Health Spending Account.
  • Wellness Spending Account.
  • Paid vacation.
  • Ongoing training and professional development.
  • Opportunity to work on complete renovation projects—not just cabinetry.
  • A supportive, family-oriented team culture.
Why Join Mod?

We're proud of the culture we've built.

If you're looking for more than just another design job—and want to be part of a team where work can actually be fun—we'd love to hear from you.

Ready to Join the Team?

Apply with your resume and portfolio.

We're looking for someone who can build instant rapport with clients, understand their needs, create great designs, and move projects confidently from consultation to close.
