Junior Treasury Analyst

Location Edmonton, Canada Sector Financial Services Salary 55,000.00 CAD to 65,000.00 CAD per annum Are you an early-career finance professional looking to build a career with a growing finance team in Edmonton? This is a full-time, on-site role. What You'll Do Assist with financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting activities Build and maintain financial models to support business planning and investment decisions Analyze financial results, key performance indicators (KPIs), and business trends Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports Conduct profitability, variance, and ad hoc financial analysis Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis Support due diligence and financial analysis related to acquisitions, financing initiatives, and strategic projects Prepare presentations, reports, and recommendations for senior leadership Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial and operational data Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and operational efficiency Support month-end, year-end, audit, and financial reporting activities What We're Looking For Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, banking, corporate finance, FP&A, or a related role Experience in within Treasury is an asset Strong Excel skills with experience working with large datasets and financial models Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail Ability to interpret financial information and communicate insights effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Self‑motivated, curious, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools is considered an asset All applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. #J-18808-Ljbffr
