Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Site Engineer located in Chennai.
The Junior Site Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day site supervision, quality control inspections, and ensuring project tasks align with structural engineering and civil engineering standards. The role involves effectively communicating with team members, coordinating with various stakeholders, and maintaining adherence to safety and industry regulations. Key Responsibilities: Assist senior engineers in the execution and monitoring of project activities at site.
Support installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project teams to ensure timely execution. Monitor site progress and maintain daily work reports.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project standards. Assist in material tracking, inspections, and documentation activities. Participate in project meetings and support project coordination activities.
Gain practical exposure to electrical systems used in modern data center and infrastructure projects. Eligibility & Skills: Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines. Freshers and candidates are welcome to apply.
Basic understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and engineering fundamentals. Willingness to learn and work in a project-site environment. Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of MS Office and basic engineering documentation. Work Location: Project Sites (Travel and relocation based on project requirements)
