Job Description

REF: 001 Responsibilities The study of existing PL SQL code and writing PL SQL code to meet requirements of change specifications. The creation, design, and debugging of C++, PL SQL, C#, JavaScript, and JSON code to ensure technical performance. Analysis of problems outlined by team seniors regarding code style, data transfer, item processing, sorting, and output formatting.

Any other Programmer/Software Developer – Level 1 tasks requested by the Technical Authority to support operations. Qualifications Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Computer Programming, or completion of a college program in Computer Science or Computer Programming of at least 1 year duration. At least 1 year of demonstrated experience as a Programmer/Software Developer.

Minimum of 6 months of experience within the past 3 years in: C++ using MS Visual Studio for application development, or SQL for application development, or web application design. Minimum of 6 months of experience developing software within an Agile environment. Experience developing large‑scale HRMS applications (e.g., DND with 10 000+ users and 1 000 concurrent users) within the past 3 years.

Experience testing software applications that were developed within the past 3 years. Additional Information Must currently hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain a Reliability Canadian Federal Government Security clearance. Must be able to go on‑site in the Ottawa area 5 days a week.
