District 27 is a high-performing school district serving approximately 1,300 students and employing approximately 200 staff members. We are seeking to find a professional, child-centered educator to teach the quarterly technology rotation of our unified arts program. This position will work with every student in Wood Oaks Junior High School for one quarter of the school year and will work in close collaboration with the other rotational teachers of art, music, health, and public speaking. Qualified applicants should possess a valid IL PEL with a Computer Applications or Computer Science endorsement and have a minimum of three years of related experience. Salary and benefits for this position are covered by the District 27 Negotiated Agreement between the Board of Education and the Teachers Association. Salary will be determined based on experience and level of education. Multiple medical benefit plans are available to employees and are considered exemplary compared to those of other districts.
