The ideal Junior Scheduler is a detail-oriented and analytical early-career construction professional with hands-on experience supporting scheduling efforts for public works or educational facilities projects. This candidate is proficient in Primavera P6 and Excel, understands schedule logic, QA/QC processes, and earned value principles, and is comfortable reviewing contractor baseline and update schedules for compliance with contract requirements. They bring strong organizational skills, the ability to interpret program-level coding standards, and the discipline to maintain data integrity across master schedules.

A collaborative communicator, they work effectively with project teams while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and adherence to scheduling guidelines. Responsibilities Work under the supervision of Senior Schedulers and Project Schedulers to provide construction schedule review comments for contractor-generated Baseline Schedules and Monthly Schedule updates based on LAUSD review templates. Assist the scheduling team in creating and populating various schedule related reports in Excel and P6 software.

Create Earned Value Curves based on LAUSD EVA template guidelines. Perform QA/QC on contractors schedule submittals for conformance with contract scope and requirements. Analyze schedules for proper use of program level standard codes, layouts and reports necessary to ensure data integrity.

Perform QA/QC on P6 program schedules and validate logic ties to ensure conformance with scheduling guidelines for various project types. Update the master program schedule with as-built start and finish dates while coordinating input from various Facilities teams on projected/forecast sequential start/finish dates. Required Experience: One (1) year full-time paid professional experience responsible in Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably on multiple educational facilities or public works projects.

Required Education: Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelors degree in engineering, architecture, engineering, or construction management.
