About the Role
The Growth Associate is the on-ground driver of Student Tribe's presence in their assigned territory. This person owns the relationship between Student Tribe and colleges from the first outreach to signing an MOU, onboarding an ambassador, and watching a thriving WhatsApp community grow.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, reach out to and activate colleges in the assigned territory through workshops, webinars, or events.
• Build and grow student community groups in each college.
• Onboard College POCs (Ambassadors) who will act as the on-ground point of contact within the campus.
• Facilitate and close MOU signings with college administrations and placement cells.
• Coordinate with the Community Experience Team for events to be hosted in their territory colleges.
• Track and report weekly on activation status, community growth, and pipeline colleges.
• Represent Student Tribe at college fairs, orientation events, and student-led gatherings.
• Maintain a healthy relationship with faculty, placement officers, and student bodies.
• Support client-facing projects wherever they involve the student segment, this may include assisting with on-ground activation, college outreach for brand campaigns, etc.
• Collaborate with the Experience Creation Team for major Student Tribe events supporting student mobilisation, college-side logistics coordination, on-ground setup, and ensuring strong turnout from communities in the territory.
• Nurture and moderate active student community groups, ensuring regular engagement through polls, updates, opportunities, and peer conversations that keep communities alive between events.
• Identify and groom potential student leaders within communities who can take on informal ambassador or peer-leader roles.
• Build a self-sustaining community culture in every college.
• Gather and relay on-ground student insights, trends, pain points, aspirations, and feedback, to the central team to help shape Student Tribe’s programming and community strategy.
Who You Are
• 0–2 years of experience in sales, community building, or campus outreach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable speaking to both students and institutional authorities.
• Self-driven with the ability to manage time and travel across the territory independently.
• Familiarity with college ecosystems like clubs, fests, placement culture, student dynamics.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace for reporting.
• Prior experience in student organisations, NSS, or college leadership roles is a strong plus.
