Join the Marine Engineering Team as a 2nd Engineer

Become an integral part of the marine engineering team as a 2nd Engineer focusing on engine operations in a dynamic transit environment. You will adhere to maintenance schedules approved by maritime safety authorities and may step up as Chief Engineer when needed. Your contributions will play a key role in supporting transportation needs for the community. Key Responsibilities: • Perform engine rebuilds and marine equipment maintenance • Maintain floating terminals and maintenance docks • Conduct planned maintenance as per schedule • Serve as Chief Engineer on a rotational basis • Ensure alignment with safety standards and regulations Requirements: • Requires Fourth Class Motor Certification or higher • Must possess valid Seafarer’s Medical and First Aid Certificate • Diesel engine and HVAC troubleshooting experience is ideal • Familiarity with preventative maintenance practices desirable • Pre-apprenticeship experience is a plus Utilize your expertise in marine engineering to support essential transit operations and benefit from ongoing development opportunities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
