JMT Consulting - Non-Profit Planning Analyst (Remote, US)

We continue to grow every year and are looking to expand our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team.

The Planning Analyst is a highly technical role responsible for creating budget and financial planning models and providing support and light training to JMT's nonprofit organization clients. We are seeking a candidate who is motivated to learn quickly and has the potential to grow further in the software consulting practice at JMT.

• Configure and implement Financial Planning and Analysis software for non-profit clients
• Maintain a strong analyst foundation building financial planning models
• Troubleshoot issues and communicate solutions to non-technical clients
• Exercise sound judgment to independently define, investigate and resolve problems/conflicts
• Ability to deal tactfully, efficiently, and professionally with internal and external clients
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, determine and organize priorities, and work independently with minimal supervision/direction.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of business finance or FP&A experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with FP&A software
• Experience with Martus, Vena, or Sage Intacct Planning, preferred
• Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
• BA, BS or B. Com degree required (Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics)
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills
