We continue to grow every year and are looking to expand our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team.
The Planning Analyst is a highly technical role responsible for creating budget and financial planning models and providing support and light training to JMT's nonprofit organization clients. We are seeking a candidate who is motivated to learn quickly and has the potential to grow further in the software consulting practice at JMT.
- Configure and implement Financial Planning and Analysis software for non-profit clients
- Maintain a strong analyst foundation building financial planning models
- Troubleshoot issues and communicate solutions to non-technical clients
- Exercise sound judgment to independently define, investigate and resolve problems/conflicts
- Ability to deal tactfully, efficiently, and professionally with internal and external clients
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, determine and organize priorities, and work independently with minimal supervision/direction.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of business finance or FP&A experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with FP&A software
- Experience with Martus, Vena, or Sage Intacct Planning, preferred
- Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
- BA, BS or B. Com degree required (Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics)
- Strong analytical and data gathering skills
- Exposure to financial modeling techniques a plus Qualities of a Successful JMT team member:
