Job Title – Java Microservices Developer Experience – 8 + Years Type: Contract - W2 / C2C Location : San Leandro CA Onsite Core Skill Requirements Backend (Java) Strong experience in Java (8+) Hands-on with Spring Boot, Spring Framework Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture Experience in RESTful APIs / Web Services Good understanding of OOPs, Design Patterns Microservices & Integration Experience in building scalable and distributed microservices Hands-on with API Gateway, Service Discovery Experience with Apache Kafka / Messaging systems Understanding of event-driven architecture Database Experience with SQL (Oracle / MySQL) Knowledge of NoSQL (MongoDB / Cassandra) Ability to write optimized queries Cloud & Tools Experience with Docker, Kubernetes Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, etc.) Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy microservices-based applications Build and maintain REST APIs Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system design and delivery Ensure high performance, scalability, and security Troubleshoot and resolve production issues Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field Experience in banking / fintech domain (plus) Strong communication and problem-solving skills
