Java Developer

Position Java Software Engineer (Associate/AVP) – Glasgow, UK Key Details Experience: 2-5 years Mode of Work: Onsite 3-4 days per week (Hybrid option) Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday Responsibilities Develop and promote the company’s culture of engineering excellence. Define, develop and deliver solutions at a top tier investment bank or other esteemed client. Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications & Experience Experience with Java/J2EE, DB technologies. Experience with Java frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot. Experience with databases & Linux/Unix.

Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and Microservices. Knowledge of database systems: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL), and optionally NoSQL (MongoDB). Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies.

Design and development skills. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Experience in a fast‑paced business environment with proven multitasking ability.

Ability to work independently with sound judgment. Excellent oral and written communication with stakeholders. Team player mentality with disciplined attention to detail.
