Java Developer - Informatics

This experienced individual has a proven track record of developing high quality software in a world-class financial services organization, preferably within an electronic trading environment.

We are looking for an outstanding candidate to be a part of an agile development team delivering client-facing trading algorithms and related services. Contribute to all areas of the software development lifecycle including design, development, integration, automated testing, optimization, and maintenance. Contribute to all areas of team performance including daily scrums and after-action reviews.

BS/BA degree or higher in Computer Science and/or Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience Experience developing applications with Java and web technologies. Good understanding of multithreaded and network programming concepts. Knowledge of PL SQL (Oracle).

Expert proficiency with computer technologies including Java, Linux, and OO Design with a focus on performance, re-usability, test automation and flexibility for customizations. Experience with messaging middleware like Solace and knowledge of event-driven (pub/sub) programming models. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript, and the Angular framework.
