IT Engineer

Summary: We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Engineer with 3–5+ years of experience in managing IT infrastructure, including servers, firewall systems, and endpoint security. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining system reliability, ensuring network security, and supporting day-to-day IT operations. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux environments).

Manage and monitor network infrastructure , including switches, routers, and firewalls. Configure and maintain firewall security policies , VPNs, and access controls. Implement and manage endpoint security solutions (antivirus, EDR, patch management).

Perform regular system monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery planning . Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues. Ensure system performance, availability, and security compliance .

Monitor logs and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities . Collaborate with cross-functional teams for IT projects and upgrades. Maintain proper documentation of IT systems, configurations, and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management. Strong knowledge of: Windows Server / Linux Server administration Firewall technologies (e.g., Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto, etc.) Endpoint security tools Networking concepts Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user management . Knowledge of backup solutions and disaster recovery .

Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware / Hyper-V). Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure is a plus).
