Job Description
We are looking for a skilled IT Engineer to manage and support the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensure smooth system operations, and drive technology-enabled process improvements. The role involves infrastructure management, network administration, system security, and automation of IT and business processes using modern technologies including AI-based tools. The ideal candidate should be capable of maintaining reliable IT systems while identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, desktops, laptops, networking devices, and related systems. Design, install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software. Monitor and manage LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity.
Implement and maintain IT security systems, including antivirus, firewalls, and data protection mechanisms. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and infrastructure-related issues efficiently. Identify opportunities for process automation and implement automation tools or scripts to improve operational efficiency.
Leverage AI-based tools and technologies to optimize IT operations, monitoring, data analysis, and workflow automation. Ensure systems are updated with the latest patches, security updates, and upgrades. Provide technical support and respond to employee IT service requests.
Train employees on newly implemented hardware, software, and digital tools. Maintain documentation of IT infrastructure, system configurations, and automation processes. Prepare periodic reports on system performance, infrastructure status, and improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3–6 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and system administration. Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and enterprise applications. Hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networking technologies.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure management, cloud environments, and system security protocols. Familiarity with process automation tools, scripting, or workflow automation platforms. Basic understanding or hands-on exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and automation technologies.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and project coordination skills. Preferred Skills Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA Network+, or Security+.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Knowledge of AI-driven automation tools, monitoring systems, and IT service management platforms. Exposure to cybersecurity practices and database security systems.
