IT Business Analyst

Location: NYC (Onsite) (Need Locals to NYC/NJ) (Mandatory in office 3 days a week) Department:IT Globa Pre-trade Job Description:- Roles and responsabilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for algorithmic trading systems and real-time applications. Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in the context of Global Securities Financing and Equities. Develop and maintain detailed functional specifications and use cases to guide development teams.

Facilitate communication between business units, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity on project goals and deliverables. Conduct data analysis to support trading strategies and decision- making processes. Participate in the testing and validation of new features and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

Provide ongoing support to users, addressing inquiries and assisting with training as needed. Skills 5 to 9 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within financial services, focusing on algorithmic trading and real-time applications. Strong understanding of Global Securities Financing and Equities markets.

Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, FIX messages). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams. Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices.

Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Education Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field. Work experience with the trading solutions mentioned previously. #J-18808-Ljbffr
