Job Description

The Krakow-based team is part of a small IT department of around 70 people located in London, India and Poland. The project delivers a single "one-stop shop" dashboard for Front Office trading supervisors. The platform gathers a wide range of control data from various global sources, processes it through workflows and presents it in a user-friendly portal.

It will be used in over 50 countries. Work involves building a completely new ingestion framework, developing a new user interface and integrating a workflow utility.

What you will do:

  • Conduct current state analysis, and to-be impact analysis
  • Translate business requirements from Product Owner into concise and clear agile technical user stories
  • Collaborate with technologists drive delivery within an agile framework
  • Hands on experience BDD, testing experience
  • Good understanding of workflows and data warehousing
  • Data analysis/mapping/modelling
  • Upheld work ethos and principle established in BA community for the program
  • Work closely with BA community and engineering team
  • Maintain full and up-to-date understanding of the business & IT strategy, current practices and system capabilities
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-up, planning, reviews)

Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience as an IT business analyst in financial industry, with additional experience in technical roles as an advantage
  • Understanding of investment banking products, PnL, Market and Credit Risk
  • Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle, with experience in working in an agile project and using collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Solid understanding of complex IT systems landscape: experience in defining interfaces and messaging protocols would be an advantage
  • Advanced SQL & Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
  • Experience of managing projects that span change across multiple systems and teams
  • Experience within conduct or regulatory would be an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
