Job Description
The Investment Operations Analyst will support the day-to-day operations functions of the Investment Office. This includes a broad spectrum of tasks and responsibilities on cash, position, and performance reconciliation, data management across multiple portfolio management systems, interaction with custodial banks and technology platforms, and ultimately supporting the implementation of investment decisions. The role will also play a crucial part in the preparation of quarterly and annual reporting to the Wellesley College Board, supporting the annual audit process, and annual tax compliance process.
Primary Position Responsibilities: Cash Management and Reconciliation Data and Document Management, working with systems Financial Reporting, Tax, Audit Analysis and peer review of various internal/external investment reporting Generating instructions for our banks Basic Qualifications: The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline, along with 2-4 years of relevant experience, particularly within investment operations or financial reporting at an endowment, foundation, institutional asset manager, or asset servicer. Prior experience instructing custodians, supporting the audit process of an institutional portfolio with external managers, supporting annual tax compliance process. Employment Eligibility: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.

Skills and Abilities: Familiarity with financial and investment data and reporting, cash/treasury management, financial reconciliation, as well as expertise in administration of data in portfolio management systems (ex. Private-I, Solovis, Caissa).
Strong to advanced MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and SharePoint. Experience working with custodian banks like Northern Trust, BNY, and State Street; navigating their systems, reporting tools, monitoring accounts, and interacting with their teams. Prior experience providing operational support to the audit process at an investment manager or endowment office a plus.
