Fund & Investment Operations Analyst | Real Estate Private Credit | Sydney
A specialist real estate private equity and private credit investment manager is looking to appoint a Fund & Investment Operations Analyst to join its growing team in Sydney.
The business invests across the real estate debt market, providing financing solutions to property owners and developers across Australia. With continued growth in its investment platform and transaction pipeline, this is an opportunity to join a high-performing team in a role sitting at the intersection of fund operations, investment execution, transactions and investor relations.
The Opportunity
Working closely with the investment and operations teams, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient execution and ongoing administration of the firm's funds and investment activities.
The role will provide broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle, including capital raising, loan settlements, investor reporting, transaction execution, compliance and governance.
Key responsibilities include
- Supporting the preparation of investor reporting, including NAV statements, distribution notices and capital call notices.
- Coordinating with fund administrators and registry providers to ensure accurate investor and fund records.
- Preparing funding confirmations and investor documentation following loan settlements.
- Supporting loan settlements, drawdowns, redraws and repayments.
- Coordinating conditions precedent, due diligence and KYC/AML requirements for new transactions.
- Maintaining transaction data rooms, deal files and investment documentation.
- Supporting the establishment and administration of SPVs for new loan transactions.
- Assisting with quarterly reporting, management reports and Investment Committee / Board papers.
- Supporting compliance, governance and regulatory processes, including registers and reporting requirements.
- Assisting with investor onboarding and responding to investor and co-investor queries.
- Preparing and coordinating responses to investor DDQs and maintaining the firm's master DDQ.
About You
We are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded professional with experience across.
Fund operations, investment operations, funds management, real estate or financial services
You will ideally have:
- 5–7 years' relevant experience within funds management, investment management, private credit, real estate or financial services.
- Strong understanding of fund administration and investment operations.
- Experience with capital calls, investor reporting, reconciliations or transaction processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to work with investors and external service providers.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, property, commerce or a related discipline.
