Job Description

At Charter Hall, our Office Partnerships team plays a key role in connecting high-quality Australian office assets with some of the world’s leading institutional investors. As Investment Manager you’ll help shape and execute investment strategies across a $14bn+ office portfolio, partnering with Fund Managers, analysts and senior stakeholders to drive performance, unlock value and support long-term growth for our investors, customers and communities.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Shape investment strategy and portfolio performance by partnering with Fund Managers and analysts on investment, divestment, portfolio construction and strategic asset planning across a significant office portfolio.
  • Play a visible role with investors and key stakeholders through fund reporting, investor presentations, due diligence responses, asset tours and ongoing investor relations activity.
  • Drive value across the portfolio by working closely with asset, property, leasing and development teams to support asset performance, leasing outcomes, capital works, ESG initiatives and development proposals.
  • Influence key investment decisions through financial analysis, modelling, valuation coordination, portfolio reviews and reporting that supports acquisition, divestment and capital transaction activity.
  • Contribute to long-term growth and outperformance by supporting strategic initiatives across Office Partnerships and helping deliver strong outcomes for investors, tenant customers and Charter Hall.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Future focused capabilities including self-awareness, resilience, agility and generosity.
  • An ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong time management skills, initiative and an ability to prioritise.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications with real estate skills from valuation, transaction, asset or development management.
  • Minimum 10 years of prior experience.
  • Ability to understand/assess risk.Accountable and proactive to meet deadlines.
  • Investment banking or investment management experience is an advantage.
  • Advanced-level MS Excel skills, MS Word and PowerPoint skills.
