Investment Analyst

Macdonald & Company has partnered with a growing real estate investment and operating platform seeking to add an Investment Analyst to its expanding team. The firm is actively acquiring and managing assets across multiple markets throughout the U.S. and offers a highly entrepreneurial environment with direct exposure to acquisitions, underwriting, asset management, and investment execution. The Role This position will work closely with senior investment leadership and support the evaluation, execution, and ongoing management of real estate investments.

Responsibilities will include underwriting acquisitions, building and maintaining financial models, preparing investment materials, supporting due diligence efforts, and assisting with portfolio and asset-level analysis. The role offers broad exposure across the investment lifecycle and is well suited to someone looking to accelerate their career within an active and growing platform. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain detailed real estate financial models Underwrite acquisition and investment opportunities Assist with investment memorandums, presentations, and reporting materials Support acquisition due diligence and transaction execution Analyze property and portfolio financial performance Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and operational analysis Conduct market research and investment analysis across target markets Work closely with acquisitions, asset management, and leadership teams on active deals Candidate Profile 1–3 years of experience within real estate, investment banking, acquisitions, asset management, lending, or related analytical environments Strong Excel, underwriting, and financial modeling skills required Multifamily experience is highly transferable and will absolutely be considered Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset High level of professionalism, initiative, and willingness to learn Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Direct exposure to senior leadership and live transactions Broad investment and operational exposure across the deal lifecycle Entrepreneurial environment with strong growth potential Flexible on location for the right individual Competitive compensation package offered based on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
