Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary Range: Β£60,000 - Β£90,000
Location: Eastleigh or London
Internal Communication & Engagement Lead: We're looking for an experienced Internal Communication & Engagement Lead to shape and deliver strategic internal communications that strengthen colleague understanding, trust and engagement across the organisation. Reporting to the Head of Internal Communication & Engagement, you'll act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders, lead enterprise-wide communication campaigns and help foster a strong, unified culture across Ageas UK during a period of significant transformation and growth
Main Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted adviser to executive and senior leaders, providing strategic communication counsel and coaching.
- Develop and deliver enterprise-wide communication plans aligned to business strategy and priorities.
- Create impactful leadership communications including speeches, presentations, announcements and thought leadership content.
- Drive engagement initiatives that strengthen a βOne Ageasβ culture and bring the corporate narrative to life.
- Lead the internal channel strategy, ensuring the right channels, governance and colleague experience across the business.
- Oversee colleague listening, wellbeing and engagement programmes, turning insights into meaningful actions.
- Lead and develop a high-performing communications team, providing coaching, support and career development.
- Deputise for the Head of Internal Communication & Engagement and support crisis communications during business-critical events.
Skills and experience you need:
- Significant experience in senior internal communications, employee engagement or corporate communications roles.
- Proven ability to influence and build credibility with executives and senior stakeholders.
- Strong experience developing and delivering strategic communication and engagement campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex messages.
- Experience leading, coaching and developing team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of communication channels, audience engagement and content strategy.
- Ability to use data, analytics and colleague insights to improve communication effectiveness.
- Degree or professional qualification in Communications, PR, Marketing, Journalism, CIPR or IoIC preferred.
