Job Statement The Inside Sales Intern – Quote Preparation will be responsible for supporting the sales team in preparing accurate and timely quotations in response to customer inquiries.

The role focuses on RFQ handling, pricing support, and coordination with internal teams to ensure proper documentation and alignment with customer requirements. Job Roles & Responsibilities --> Quote Preparation & RFQ Handling · Review and analyse incoming RFQs and customer inquiries · Prepare quotations based on standard pricing, product requirements, and inputs from internal teams · Ensure accuracy in pricing, part numbers, and commercial terms --> Pricing & Commercial Support · Assist in basic pricing calculations and cost analysis · Support preparation of commercial offers including terms and conditions · Maintain pricing data and quotation records --> Co-ordination & Follow-ups · Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams for required inputs · Follow up internally for timely completion of quotations · Support clarification of customer queries related to quotations --> Data Management & Documentation · Maintain records of RFQs, quotations, and customer responses · Ensure proper documentation in CRM / ERP systems · Track inquiry-to-quotation statua --> Reporting & Support · Assist in preparing reports on RFQs, quotations, and conversion status · Support sales team in daily operational activities Key Skills/Competencies: Technical Competencies · Basic understanding of RFQ (Request for Quotation) process · Knowledge of MS Excel (Advance) · Familiarity with CRM / ERP tools (preferred) · Understanding of product costing and pricing basics · Ability to read and interpret basic technical requirements Sales & Business Competencies · Understanding of quotation preparation and commercial documentation · Ability to support pricing analysis and cost calculations · Basic knowledge of B2B sales process · Attention to detail in offer preparation and documentation Behavioural Competencies · Strong attention to detail and accuracy · Good communication and coordination skills · Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment · Self-driven and responsible approach · Ability to work with cross-functional teams Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Inside Sales and Lead Generation to support prospecting, qualification, and sales pipeline development. Candidates should possess skills in Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction to manage inquiries, build trust, and contribute to positive client experiences.

Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening. Basic understanding of sales processes, CRM tools, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is beneficial. Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate in a team environment, and manage time and tasks effectively.

Interest in electronics or engineering sectors; pursuing or having a degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
