Intermediate Software Developers

Our client is looking to add an intermediate Java Developer to their team. You will support their Internet-based e-commerce software (Web Services & EDI) products and an in-house CRM system. The successful candidate will have a solid background in internet/java development using a structured SDLC methodology and want to expand their customer support skills.

Duties and Responsibilities Supports internet-based Product Data Synchronization software Analyzes, develops, tests and implements code change to resolve support issues; Develops a strong understanding of internal user requirements and be able to provide input to the design process; Designs and develops Windows-based, client/server internal applications and provide support for internal users; Qualifications 3-4 years of Java and Object-oriented programming Experience developing Windows based client/server applications Experience developing web applications using HTML, ASP, Javascript, DHTML, CSS, Servlets Excellent Visual Basic skills on large scale projects; Strong MS SQL Server database knowledge including triggers and stored procedures, along with experience using JDBC and SQL Good knowledge of XML Strong ability to work independently In addition experience with the following will be an asset: Multi-platform experience – Unix, Linux, Mainframe EDI and enterprise e-commerce Multiple scripting languages Strong unit testing discipline Apply online. #J-18808-Ljbffr
