Intermediate Accountant

Due to the continuing growth of our business, we currently have an opening for a full-time Intermediate Accountant at our office in Sydney. This position is ideal for an individual confident in their technical ability in tax compliance, ready to step into a dynamic, fast-growing business with a strong client base. Whether you’re an experienced professional or early in your career, you’ll have opportunities to further develop your technical skills, take on new challenges and grow within a business that values teamwork and initiative.

What will you be doing?

• Preparation of statutory accounts, including all associated working papers and supporting documentation
• Preparation of income tax returns
• Preparation of Business Activity Statements
• Management accounting
• Assist with the daily accounting needs and requirements of clients
• Responding to client enquiries
• Assisting with management of the tax lodgement program
• WIP management and assisting with the billing process
• Supervision and training of junior team members

What are we looking for?

• 2 years’ professional experience in tax and business advisory services
• A bachelor’s degree in commerce/accounting
• Part-qualified CPA / CA ANZ Accountant
• Ability to manage strong client relationships
