Intelligent Automation Engineer - Azure OCR

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Azure Integration Developer / ERP Automation Developer with strong expertise in Azure-based automation and integration development.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing ERP integrations and document processing solutions using Microsoft Azure services and automation tools. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, hands-on development experience, and the capability to work with structured and unstructured data, APIs, and intelligent document processing solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain integration and automation solutions using Azure services and Node.js.

Build and support Azure Functions for processing business workflows and system integrations. Develop document extraction and processing solutions using Azure Document Intelligence. Create and manage automation workflows using Power Automate.

Work with Azure Blob Storage for file management and document processing. Develop and maintain JSON-based data structures and transformation logic. Implement and optimize Regular Expression (Regex) patterns for document parsing and validation.

Analyze PDF layouts and create extraction logic for structured and semi-structured documents. Integrate ERP systems and external applications through APIs and cloud services. Troubleshoot and debug integration issues across systems and environments.

Monitor and maintain cloud solutions using Azure Portal and Azure App Service tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions. Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of automation solutions.

Skills Required: Must Have: Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and Node.js Strong knowledge of Regular Expressions (Regex) Experience with Azure Functions Experience with Azure Blob Storage Hands-on experience with Azure Document Intelligence Experience building workflows in Power Automate Strong understanding of JSON structures and data handling Strong logical and analytical debugging skills Experience in PDF layout analysis and document extraction Experience working with REST APIs Nice to have: Basic understanding of IFS ERP, specifically the ICS module Exposure to ERP integration projects Knowledge of cloud integration architecture and best practices Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field Relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure are an added advantage Experience Requirements 2–3 years of experience in integration development or automation solutions Hands-on experience with REST APIs and JSON data handling Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure What We’re Looking For Strong problem-solving mindset Attention to detail and structured thinking Ability to work independently and within a team environment Strong communication and technical documentation skills Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
