Job Description

Under the general supervision of the Fleet and Technology Manager, the TMS Integration Analyst is responsible for implementations, project management, and continuous improvement of new and existing Transportation Management business. Operating key parts of each project while managing, training, gathering information, and configuring the Company’s TMS platform is critical to this role. Responsibilities Responsible for end-to-end consulting with clients to deliver a comprehensive Transportation Management System, guiding and driving the client towards the best solution for their business needs Configure and maintain unique integrations and custom features to fit needs of client within TMS structure Consults with business and reviews IT usage, services, technology, and department specific projects in order to identify, forecast and develop IT needs Participate in project scheduling and planning, business process flow mapping, system configuration, system piloting, system and user testing, user training, and integration design and testing within TMS system Conduct transportation data analysis to understand client shipping costs and volumes by facility, lane, region, mode Act as liaison for customers to communicate to development team for tasks and assignments pertaining to a web based Transportation Management System (TMS) Coordinates the use and delivery of IT services Designed test plans, scenarios, scripts, procedures and training manuals, conducted UAT with remote users Experience in contract interpretation and data control for LTL, Truckload, Ocean and Air Contracts and Tariffs Performs other duties as required Preferred Skills Familiar with multiple TMS and WMS platforms: MercuryGate TMS, SMC3 Integration, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint, XML, SQL, EDI Integration, ACE Task Defect Tracking and Project Management, FedEx and UPS Web Services Integration Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent 1+ years in IT including project management and business analysis 2+ years related experience in the logistics/affiliated industry Experience in Logistics, Distribution, Warehouse Management, Inventory, Supply Chain & WMS/TMS Solutions, with specialties in Logistics, Procurement, and tactical supply chain analysis Knowledge of business finance principles and IT organizational practices Ability to build, maintain and extend relationships across the organization Knowledge of SLDC principles such as Waterfall and Agile development #J-18808-Ljbffr
