Insurance Manager (Captive Insurance Manager)

Full time

Hybrid – requires at least three days per week in the office.

Location: Perth.

We count on you to:

  • Serve as the insurance manager for the account team on large or complex accounts, implement action plans, monitor progress, assure service meets or exceeds expectations, and protect the firm from Errors & Omissions.
  • Draft essential comprehensive insurance documents intended for clients.
  • Conduct research on various markets or industries to identify new growth areas and trends for internal use and to spot growth opportunities.
  • Conduct and refine data analyses to support proposal creation and account-facing presentations.
  • Address escalated issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner, help manage expectations, mitigate relationship risks, and apply judgement on when to elevate major issues to senior colleagues to ensure compliance.
  • Offer technical and transactional support for complex or high-priority relationships when needed to ensure relationship satisfaction and facilitate mutual understanding.
  • Develop strong relationships with professional counterparts at client organizations.
  • Attend and participate in industry events and conferences to build a strong professional network, maintain proximity to the relevant market, and represent the Company.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and brokers.
  • Help prepare for client director meetings and participate as necessary.
  • Address client requests promptly by coordinating responses in conjunction with other team members.

What you need to have:

  • Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in an Insurance role
  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (desired)
  • Familiarity with captive management software and data analysis tools (desired)
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management
