Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to support the development and review of engaging K-12 digital instructional content for U.S. based curriculum projects.


The ideal candidate will have experience working with U.S. educational standards, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and designing high-quality, standards-aligned learning experiences.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and enhance K-12 instructional content for quality, clarity, and alignment with U.S. curriculum standards.
  • Develop and review storyboards, instructional scripts, and multimedia content.
  • Ensure learning objectives, assessments, and instructional activities are effectively aligned.
  • Plan and recommend appropriate media elements such as graphics, videos, and interactive components.
  • Perform quality checks for grammar, formatting, accessibility, and instructional effectiveness.
  • Utilize AI tools to support content development while validating instructional accuracy.
  • Collaborate with SMEs, Curriculum Leads, and Production teams to deliver high-quality learning content within project timelines.


Required Qualifications

  • Postgraduate degree in English, Literature, Social Studies, Education, or a related field.
  • 3โ€“5 years of experience in K-12 Instructional Design.
  • Experience working with U.S. based curriculum projects.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. K-12 educational standards and standards-aligned lesson development.
  • Excellent writing, storyboarding, visualization, and content review skills.
  • Knowledge of accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and digital learning best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and eLearning authoring platforms is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet project deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Articulate Rise or similar eLearning authoring tools.
  • Experience in standards mapping and digital lesson production workflows.
  • Familiarity with instructional design models and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
