Our client is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Supervisor to oversee sales administration activities, support internal and external customers, and lead a high-performing inside sales team. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who can balance team management, process improvement, customer support, and commercial coordination within a technical manufacturing environment. The role The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring sales performance, improving internal processes, supporting quoting and order activity, and ensuring a strong level of service across the customer journey.
This person will work cross‑functionally with sales, supply chain, finance, production, and other internal teams to improve communication, streamline workflows, and help deliver business goals. Key responsibilities Lead and support the inside sales team, setting expectations and driving performance Ensure policies, procedures, and best practices are followed across the department Support continuous improvement across quoting, order processing, claims, and related sales administration activity Monitor KPIs, sales activity, and performance data to identify areas for improvement Help resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date pricing information in line with company policy Improve order lifecycle processes to increase efficiency and service levels Communicate regularly with outside sales teams and customers regarding pricing, delivery, order status, claims, and market information Build strong working relationships across sales, supply chain, finance, marketing, production, and related functions Coach, develop, and motivate team members while supporting wider strategic and operational objectives Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience 4+ years of experience in sales and/or manufacturing environments Previous supervisory or team leadership experience Strong knowledge of industrial, technical, or manufacturing‑led sales processes Excellent communication and organisational skills Strong analytical ability and confidence reviewing sales and performance data Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and maintain a high standard of customer service Able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities Preferred Master’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field 6+ years of experience in sales and/or manufacturing environments Exposure to engineering, finance, or production management within a manufacturing or industrial setting Bilingual capability may be advantageous depending on location #J-18808-Ljbffr
