Job Description
Primary Purpose The Innovation Coordinator is the operational backbone of Generac’s innovation programs. This role coordinates people, platforms, and process to keep the innovation engine running day‑to‑day while senior innovation leaders focus on strategy and executive engagement. The position supports multiple innovation leaders and serves as the primary administrator of Generac’s enterprise innovation platform, ensuring continuity, adoption, and momentum across the organization.
Major Responsibilities Platform Operations & Moderation- Ensures daily oversight, moderation, tagging, routing, and hygiene of AMP to maintain data quality and productive engagement. Channel & Campaign Management- Partners with teams to create channels/challenges, manages evaluation cycles, and coaches owners on best practice setup and follow through. Data, Reporting & Insights- Owns recurring reporting, delivers clean data for leadership, and synthesizes trends, bottlenecks, and insights into clear recommendations.
Communications & Engagement- Supports communication plans, builds engagement through reminders and recognition, and tailors messaging across office, manufacturing, and global teams. Supports summaries and presentation materials to support innovation leaders and stakeholders at Generac. Cross Functional Partner Support- Serves as a liaison across business units and functions to align platform activity with strategic priorities and leadership sponsored challenges.
Manage user access, onboarding, permissions, and communications to drive platform adoption and engagement. Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and communications for innovation workshops, challenges, sessions, and events. Education Bachelor’s degree in: Business, Design, Communications, Marketing, Or similar field Work Experience Minimum 2 years of professional experience in program coordination, administrative support, or project management or similar roles. 4–6 years of experience with innovation platforms (e.g., HYPE), digital communities, Design R&D or large‑scale employee engagement systems.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Strong written and verbal communication. High organizational capability with ability to manage multiple concurrent threads. Comfort with basic analytics, dashboards, and reporting.
Experience creating and maintaining training or process documentation. Skilled at building internal communities and engagement.
