Information Technology Project Manager (Tualatin)

Position: IT Software Project Manager Duration: Contract through June 2027 (Potential to extend) Location: Onsite 3 days per week – Tualatin, OR Pay Rate: $50/hr-70/HR depending on level of experience. Overview A regional organization is seeking an experienced IT Software Project Manager to support the implementation of a large-scale enterprise application. This role focuses on coordinating stakeholders, managing integrations, tracking budgets and timelines, and ensuring smooth delivery across multiple workstreams.

The ideal candidate brings strong software implementation experience, clear communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects in a structured environment. Required Experience 5+ years of experience managing IT or software-focused projects, specifically implementations. Hands-on experience supporting application or system implementations Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles, including requirements gathering, testing, and releases Experience working with project tracking and reporting tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, Oracle, and Excel Ideally, experience within the utility industry, or similar.

Ability to build and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resourcing models Key Responsibilities Partner with internal teams and business stakeholders to plan and deliver application implementation work Coordinate multiple system integrations and track dependencies across teams Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and status reporting Support testing and release activities, with a focus on functional readiness Maintain clear, consistent communication to ensure alignment across all parties Nice to Have Experience supporting projects within regulated or operationally complex environments Background working with data-heavy or operational software platforms
