Industrial Software & Database Developer

Role Overview:

Experienced Industrial Software Developer with strong .NET and SQL expertise to

support development and integration of manufacturing and test systems. Focus on production control

systems, machine connectivity, data acquisition, and traceability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop applications using VB.NET/.NET

• Design and optimize SQL databases

• Integrate with manufacturing equipment, test systems, SCADA, MES

• Implement communication protocols (CAN/LIN, RS232/485, TCP/IP)

• Enable real-time data acquisition and monitoring

• Build traceability, genealogy, audit trail systems

• Support testing, validation, troubleshooting

• Participate in commissioning and plant support

• Follow Git-based development practices

Required Skills:

• Strong VB.NET/.NET experience

• Strong SQL/database design expertise

• Industrial automation/test system experience

• Knowledge of CAN/LIN, RS protocols, TCP/IP

• SCADA / OPC UA experience

• High-volume data handling and optimization

Domain Experience: Manufacturing / Automotive / Industrial automation, MES or traceability systems

Soft Skills: Problem-solving, ability to work across software/hardware/data layers, good

communication

Working Model: Hybrid with occasional plant travel for commissioning and validation
