Location: Foster City California 94404 Pay Range: $50.00- $62.00/hr. on W2 (without benefits and no paid vacations) Duration: 6+ Months Responsibilities Schedule : Monday - Friday onsite (Friday being optional remote) Industrial Design brings together visionary designers and innovators dedicated to creating mobility solutions that serve everyone. Join our design team as we embark on the next chapter of vehicle and hardware design, where you'll contribute to groundbreaking projects that blend traditional automotive craftsmanship with the unique requirements of autonomous vehicles, helping us create transportation solutions for the benefit of all. Responsibilities Develop design themes for our vehicle and hardware products from sketch, prototype, through production Work closely and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver completed, on time, and high-quality vehicle and hardware designs Create high-quality digital and physical presentation materials that communicate the design intent at any phase in a project and present design concepts to internal teams and executives Contribute to the evolving teamwork, design culture, and processes in the studio Create product designs that align with the vision and brand Qualifications 5+ years of Automotive or similar design studio experience Mass production, concept, and one-off vehicle or similar product launch experience Experience managing design projects and processes from concept to production Ability and desire to work and communicate well with internal, cross-functional, and executive teams Hands-on experience and collaboration with industry vendors and suppliers Experience working across partner groups such as engineering, product, and manufacturing Experience with autonomous driving hardware and sensors is a plus Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Contract Job function Job function Design, Manufacturing, and Production Industries Motor Vehicle Manufacturing, Automation Machinery Manufacturing, and Wholesale Motor Vehicles and Parts Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at LanceSoft, Inc. by 2x Get notified about new Industrial Engineer jobs in Foster City, CA .
