Job Description
Summary of Role: We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to support and optimize manufacturing operations. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and improving production processes, equipment, and facility layouts to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The position also plays a key role in supporting customer quotations and ensuring high standards are maintained across all operations.
Key Responsibilities: Design tooling for new product requirements and coordinate orders with external suppliers Support quotation processes for internal teams and manufacturing sites Collaborate with and manage subcontractors to maintain equipment and facility uptime Evaluate new technologies and equipment to improve operational performance Analyze manufacturing processes and recommend improvements for quality and efficiency Prepare data-driven reports to support management decision-making Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards Review production costs, schedules, and resource requirements Optimize workflow, equipment layout, and space utilization Coordinate equipment maintenance and ensure adherence to manufacturer guidelines Take ownership of product quality standards Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and projects Perform additional duties as required Qualifications & Experience: Degree or equivalent experience in Industrial, Mechanical, or related Engineering field Experience in manufacturing environments, particularly custom or precision processes Familiarity with tooling design and production methods Experience supporting continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) Ability to analyze data and present insights to senior stakeholders Knowledge of quality systems and compliance standards Experience with design software (e.g., CAD tools) preferred Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to interpret technical drawings Proficiency in standard business software (e.g., Microsoft Office) Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
