- The candidate will be responsible for leading a centralized team of Project Analysts while promoting consistency, efficiency, and coordinated service delivery across Indigenous Relations (IR).
- The candidate will ensure analyst support aligns with regional priorities, Nation engagement, and operational commitments while maintaining strong regional connections.
- The candidate will be responsible for implementing flexible resourcing strategies to balance workloads, respond to peak demands, and maintain continuity of service across all regions.
- The candidate will be responsible for implementing standardized processes and promoting continuous improvement to improve operational effectiveness.
- The candidate will build and support a high-performing, inclusive team culture focused on employee development and engagement.
- The candidate will be responsible for connecting regional teams with IR leadership to support the coordinated delivery of strategic initiatives.
- The candidate will be responsible for managing the IR governance framework and overseeing policies, procedures, and controls that safeguard the department and support informed decision-making.
- The candidate will be responsible for coordinating centralized intake and assigning analyst work according to capacity, urgency, and regional requirements.
- The candidate will be responsible for delivering consistent regional support while aligning services with regional priorities and relationships.
- The candidate will ensure analysts remain connected to their regions through ongoing participation in planning, meetings, and engagement activities.
- The candidate will be responsible for assigning resources to address workload pressures, emerging issues, and operational coverage requirements.
- The candidate will lead the development and refinement of standardized processes to improve efficiency and reduce variation.
- The candidate will monitor department workload trends and service outcomes to inform decisions and operational adjustments.
- The candidate will support and develop team members while fostering a positive, inclusive environment and guiding staff through change.
- The candidate will be responsible for working closely with regional partners and leadership to support coordinated service delivery.
- The candidate will manage and uphold the IR governance framework, including policies, procedures, controls, and compliance, while providing advice to leadership on risks and improvements.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must hold a Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or a related discipline.
- The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in workflow management, process coordination, quality assurance, payment and invoice administration, while leveraging systems and technology to deliver consistent, efficient, and compliant service outcomes.
- The candidate with proven experience leading people will be considered an asset.
- The candidate must have knowledge of Indigenous community issues and BC Hydro relationships, which will be considered an asset.
- The candidate must have an understanding of business systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, and similar platforms, and their application to manage process efficiency.
