IN-HOME TUTORS NEEDED ASAP (K-12th grades), FOSTER KIDS, $25/hr

Qualifications:

REQUIRED

* Must be able to pass a TB skin test and FBI/DOJ fingerprint clearance. * Must possess reliable transportation to student’s home or nearby library. * Must have working e-mail in order to communicate with program directors on a DAILY basis * Looking for tutors with any ONE of the following: * College students (at least jr. in standing), experience with kids * Bachelor’s degree and comfortable working with children * Certified teacher or in pursuit of teaching credentials

*What You Can Expect:*

* Tutoring is one to one in the student’s home or nearby library (and possibly some online tutoring opportunities when needed) * Tutors will use our curriculum to help students K-12 in either Math or Language Arts. * You will be assigned students and will need to set up times that are convenient for them but work for you as well * Hours are usually weekdays between 2:30 and 8:00pm and on weekends * Hours are flexible and varied: 20 to 35 hours a week! * Paid Training will be conducted at 1/2 rate * Pay is dependent on experience:

We are seeking motivated, committed individuals with a passion for teaching. They must be comfortable traveling from HOME TO HOME and working with students in a private one to one setting. These individuals must be able to work with students ages K-12 in either Math or Language Arts. Individuals whom can commit to their students and maintain a consistent schedule. Individuals must also be able to keep good track of their hours turn in paperwork on time, and meet deadlines.
