Location - Atlanta, GA (Remote + Travel) Mandatory Skills IIOT, PLC, SCADA, MQTT, MES, Ignition, Onshore/ offshore team coordination, Team leading and manufacturing experience. Role Description The Team You'll join an innovative engineering group focused on developing and deploying advanced SCADA systems. The team works closely with cross-functional departments, including IIoT networking and external integration partners, to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions. Your work will help ensure seamless data flow, system functionality, and integration across diverse platforms. The Role As an Ignition SCADA Engineer , you will install, configure, and optimize Ignition systems, including the gateway and core modules. You will identify and implement required drivers—such as Allen Bradley and custom drivers—to ingest data from various PLCs. Working closely with the IIoT networking team, you will manage firewall configurations and ensure secure, efficient data exchange. You will also help replicate and enhance existing FactoryTalk View systems within Ignition Perspective, leveraging your C#/.NET experience. Additional responsibilities include exposing data from Ignition via MQTT or other formats, collaborating with integration partners, and troubleshooting performance issues.
What You’ll Bring Experience with installation and configuration of Ignition SCADA systems Proficiency in identifying and implementing drivers for PLC data ingestion Strong understanding of IIoT networking, including firewalls Proficiency in C#/.NET, with experience replicating functionality from Rockwell product suites Knowledge of data formats such as MQTT for systems integration Ability to troubleshoot performance issues related to data ingestion and egress #J-18808-Ljbffr
